We&#8217;re pigeonholed into a world where we&#8217;re supposed to be innate nurturers who only care about our children, not ourselves. <\/p>\n<p>For my 40th birthday, I wanted to follow my interests and passions and do <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/travel-without-kids-better-parent-avoid-burnout-2023-7\" data-analytics-product-module=\"body_link\" rel=\"noopener\">something just for me<\/a>.
